Crafting is not a way to make money in this game. It's a way to craft end-game account bound gear and items. You will eventually want all the crafting disciplines unlocked across your account; it doesn't matter which character has which disciplines.
Sword/Sword or Sword/Focus and you'll be great.. maybe if you run staff or gs you'll feel like utility. but sword mainhand, you don't feel like a utilty player. it hits quite hard. and so does the phantasm. focus phantasm reflects projectile while also doing damage. sword phantasm dashes in, does damage, dashes out and repeat.

Avoid Mesmer, Engineer, and Elementalist. #1. Ashrala Dec 3, 2022 @ 4:36pm. Necromancer is a popular beginner class, not too complex, easy to learn. I started with and mained an Elementalist like forever, it's just more fun for some people to start and stick with a complex class I guess, I'm a weirdo that way. #2.
Daily Achievements. Completing your dailies is a 10-minute process, fact that it makes it easy to farm. Apart from the 2 gold per day reward, there’s also the 10 Achievement Points one. The dailies you decide to do is completely up to you. Any 3 achievements will do the trick, which makes the process very easy.
Thief Stealth. Stealth is what sets Thief apart from other classes in Guild Wars 2. Thief has access to a long list of stealth attacks and stealth movement skills in addition to the The thief’s stealth utility skills. Stealth was once considered critical in dungeons, where a Thief can stealth their entire party through some of the worst mobs.
You can type /wiki, followed by a word in chat, to automatically open the GW2 wiki. For example, typing "/wiki tailor" will open up a wiki page of the tailor crafting discipline. You can also make your character emote, by typing things such as /laugh, /wave, /dance. For a full list of emotes, /wiki emotes. 1.
Request: A Beginner's Guide to GW2 Professions. I am a relatively new player and I am currently wondering what the situation/meta each profession is currently in. I read that the warrior is the best starter so that is the class I have been playing. However I am trying to decide on a new profession and I am having some trouble choosing.
Mirage is extremely easy to play, you press two buttons then auto attack and press dodge. Its a very beginner friendly build. Mesmer is also very easy to 1 to 80 with. One of the easiest classes. It's very strong. What makes it not good for a new player? You can equip a sword and auto attack 1 to 80. Getting hero points would be very easy, once 80.
Elixir Gun. Hard Light Arena. Elite Mortar Kit. You can add another optional Utility to your bar based on your personal preference or what feels best for you. Options for this include the Thumper
Reaper is great for solo play, and is pretty fun in WvW, and unranked PvP (my experience is limited in both, though). Another good starter class is ranger. Good health, very short CD heal, pets, long range with longbow, and very good damage with greatsword.
Fractals are level 80 mini-dungeons in Guild Wars 2. This instanced content takes place in the Fractals of the Mists, and is intended to be challenged by five players. If you've just hit level 80 and are wondering where to begin with Fractals, we've got you covered. Starting out with Fractals can be confusing.
For example, the condi scourge is meta and has similar play style to warlocks or dark mages.. using curses and/or punishments. And there's druid used for healing parties. One thing about gw2 is the name and aesthetic of the class Can be highly different from the actual play style in meta build of the class.
Getting into raids. Beginners guide. You want to start raiding and have no idea where to start? It’s a good place for you. Let’s start by clearing some common incomprehension. Raids in Guild Wars 2 are not hard, they don’t need an easy mode. GW2 does have a few hard bosses, but in like From Software games most of the difficulty is your side.
Find a guild that is suitable to your playstyle. Avoid pugging (via the LFG tool) at first, especially when you don’t know the dungeons very well. Communicate well, stay friendly and be open-minded! Always tell people up front if you are not (very) familiar with the dungeon. Ask guild-mates to teach you.
Guild Wars 2 All Classes and Subclasses. Guild Wars 2 is a free-to-play online role-playing game developed by ArenaNet and published by NCSoft. The game was initially released on 23 August 2012. Guild Wars game is quite old but has got many updates, and new classes have been released as well.
This was tough. Every one of the Guild Wars 2 classes split over all the areas of the MMO - Like dungeons, PvP, WvW I really love them all - but which des
New player : Welcome. You will see lot's of people telling you that Elementalist is a very difficult class to play & that you should avoid it at begin. Thats half true. It's one of the most complex class, but it's totally playable for beginners. I myself started as Elementalist at release in 2012, was new to MMO, and it really enjoyed it.
Loot weapons. Rarity. B. Basic. Req. level. 0-80. Basic weapons are the lowest quality available item, and all weapons of the same type have the same appearance. They have the widest range of level requirements, from 0-80.
